Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions constitute a written agreement between ourselves and our customer (this being the person(s) who uses our products or services). We and our Customer(s) accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. Full or part-payment signifies an understanding and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Reservations
Advance reservations are essential to prevent disappointment. Such reservations can be made through our website. Please present your tickets at reception in order to gain entry to Catalyst.
Please check your tickets on receipt as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult in the centre and in the additional activities such as workshops or shows.
Catalyst reserves the right to refuse entry, without refund, in reasonable circumstances, including but not limited to health and safety.
Concession Tickets
Concession tickets include adults over 60 years of age, university students, holders of a National Disability Card, Blue Badge holders and people in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment).
Children
Children’s tickets include accompanied children aged 3 to 18. Children aged 3 and under are admitted free.
Special Needs
Catalyst has level access to all areas, automatic entry doors, a lift to all floors, a Changing Places facility and sensory bags which can be borrowed from Reception.
Catalyst is happy to admit one 1:1 carer free of charge. Any additional carers will be admitted at the normal adult rate.
Payment
Full payment must be made prior to completing your experience with us. A full receipt can be issued upon request.
Booking Amendments
You can amend your booking up to 24 hours prior to your visit but places are limited and we cannot guarantee to be able to accommodate you on other days at short notice.
Cancellation by you
If you cancel your booking before the booking date then a full refund can be arranged or we can transfer your booking to another date within a 3 month period.
Cancellation by us
Please check before travelling that an event has not been cancelled or rescheduled. Catalyst will not in any circumstances reimburse travel costs incurred in travelling to an event.
In the unlikely event that the lift is out of order Catalyst will transfer your booking to another date within a 3 month period.
Prices Quoted
Prices quoted on this site are correct as at 31st March 2026. Catalyst reserves the right to increase or amend prices without prior notification.
Price Inclusions
General admission price includes admission to Catalyst shop, cafe and gallery areas
Price Exclusions
The General Admission Price does not include admission to any of the additional activities such as the hands-on workshop. Tickets for these must be purchased separately.
Animals / Pets
Well behaved pets are welcome in the main Reception, Café and Gift shop areas but not in the gallery spaces (for their own safety) unless assistance dogs.
Information that we collect from the Customer
When the Customer orders products or services from participating venues using the Digitickets service, he/she may be required to provide certain personal information including name, contact details and credit or debit card information. For clarity, Digitickets uses a secure 3rd party processor for all credit / debit card transactions and has no access to the detailed card information.
We may also collect information about the Customer's participation with businesses using the Digitickets service through the Customer's general usage of the system as well as from our content management system.

Force Majeure
Except where otherwise expressly stated in this policy, we cannot and will not accept liability or pay compensation where the opening or event of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss, as a result of “force majeure”. For the elimination of doubt, in these conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we, or our sub-contractors, could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorism, industrial disputes, natural disaster, adverse weather, fire, etc.
